MFA-2000L

  • Product No:MFA-2000L
  • Manufacturer:Quality Engineering Associates Inc.

The magnetic roller measures the magnetic field strength of the magnets used inside mag rollers in electrophotographic printers. This key component meters and delivers a uniform layer of toner to the development zone and controls the amount of toner delivered onto the photoreceptor. The magnetic field around the roller must be properly designed and carefully controlled to prevent poor tone reproduction and background toner development. Excellent mag roller function is essential to high-quality prints.

  • Compact, portable designEasy-to-use software interface

  • Runs on PC with Windows 7 to 10 OS, 64-bit

  • Measurements in the axial direction show uniformity of magnet strength; in the radial direction they show peak flux magnitude and pole angle

  • False-color mapping quantifies flux intensity over entire magnet surface, allowing easy spotting of defects

  • Quantifies magnets 7.5mm to 17mm in diameter, maximum length 360mm (including shafts)

Typical Applications

Magnet Quality Attributes

· Pole Angle: Automatically reports the positions of the

magnet poles relative to the D-flat on the magnet.

· Peak Pole Flux: Reports the peak magnetic flux (Guass)

for each pole position.

· Flux Uniformity: Along the length of the magnet, report the

variation in flux magnitude.

· Flux Map: Two dimensional false color map showing the

flux intensity over the whole surface of the magnet.

Allows defects to be quickly spotted.
